The Global Strategic Alliance

The Global Strategic Alliance (GSA) doctoral training programme is a new initiative that gives PhD students the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in different institutions and experience working cultures in other universities. Our GSA partners have been chosen as they have the complementary skills to facilitate such an approach. This will generate a consortium to develop imaging technologies and apply them to pressing biological problems. Not only will the programme help students with their current studies, by learning new skills and techniques, but it will help students to establish working relationships outside of Sheffield that will support and foster their future networking activities.

Some of our Imagine students have already taken advantage of the programme to study in the USA.
