Industrial Contact Day: Detectors, Cameras and Optics
The Department of Physics and Astronomy and Imagine:Imaging Life are holding an Industrial contact afternoon on Friday 10th November (from 12 noon). The event will give researchers the opportunity to build collaborations and share ideas with several pioneering companies in the fields of detectors, cameras and optics.
The afternoon will consist of talks from industry and academia, as well as updates on possible funding opportunities (both externally and within the university). There will be plenty of time to discuss ideas with colleagues from around the university and from industry.
This will be the first in a series of events aimed at building stronger collaborations with industry.
